Use the 12″ ARRI-Standard Lightweight Dovetail Plate with a separately available sliding bridge plate to balance your camera rig and to support accessories. The Dovetail Plate features safety catches on each end to prevent the bridge plate from sliding off, and both 3/8″-16 and 1/4″-20 threads for mounting on a tripod quick release plate or other support.

The Stratus Lightweight Dovetail is compatible with any ARRI Standard Baseplate.

SAFETY STOPPERS
A base plate safety stopper is included on both ends of the dovetail. This will keep your base plate from accidentally sliding off of the dovetail. To mount the dovetail, you can simply push the safety stopper down as you mount the baseplate. The spring-loaded stopper will move back into its original position after the baseplate has been mounted.

TRIPOD PLATE MOUNTING POINTS
Any tripod plate with a 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 screw can mount directly to the bottom of the dovetail. The dovetail features 7 1/4-20 screw threads and 7 3/8-16 screw threads. This allows your tripod plate to be mounted in various areas of the dovetail such as the back, center, or front.
